I live in Andover with my family, having moved here several years ago from the West Midlands. I served in the Armed Forces for several years, as well as working as a labourer, pig farmer and HGV driver, before moving into counselling. I love my job as it offers me the complete privilege of being trusted to help people to make positive changes to their life. I believe that we are put in this world to live our lives to their fullest potential, not to just survive from one day to the next, and it's my hope that I can help you to be the best version of yourself.
I'm based in Walworth Enterprise Centre, which is just outside of Andover, a few minutes from the A303, and close to several bus routes. The Centre has disabled access and parking, and my room is a peaceful, relaxing space designed with your comfort and privacy in mind.
I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society (NCS), which is registered with the Professional Standards Authority. I have over 1100 client hours and am supervised in accordance with NCS guidelines. Please always ensure that anyone claiming to be a qualified counsellor is able to provide their membership and qualification details. I am bound to act in accordance with the NCS Code of Ethics, meaning that I will always act in a way that is for your benefit, and to reduce the chance of any harm coming to you. I am fully insured by Holistic to provide counselling, both in person and via Zoom.
I have been double vaccinated against COVID-19 and have had the booster. I regularly disinfect the soft furnishings in my counselling room for your safety. I provide fresh drinking water and tissues, but please feel free to bring your own if you would prefer.

Privacy & Security
When counselling online, I use secure, end to end encrypted services to ensure that our communications stay private. I also use a headset and microphone to make sure nobody can ever overhear what we are talking about.
Your data is stored securely. Anonymous notes are held on my encrypted computer, and paper records are stored in a locked cabinet in a locked room. I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office as a Data Protection Officer and am fully compliant with GDPR legislation.
Counselling sessions last for 50 minutes, and will be weekly, either in person or via Zoom.
I offer a free 30 minute taster session to new clients to see if I am the right counsellor for you. This is a no strings, no obligation session.
Session cost is £55 a week, payable by bank transfer, cash or card. I don't currently have reduced fee sessions available.
I have both evening and daytime weekday appointments available for booking. Please contact me for further details.
